Iso-Gon®
Versatile cleaner, descaler, decontaminant and radioactive contaminant remover.
Iso-Gon® is a general all purpose cleaner, decontaminant for laboratory glassware, hardware, reactor components and spent fuel element processing. Iso-Gon® can also be used as a degreaser, descaler and metal cleaning solution. With a powerful combination of surface-active agents, chelants, peptizers, solvents, Iso-Gon® removes surface radioactive particles by chelating, lifting and suspending all radioactive soils. The contamination can then be rinsed off with running water.
Iso-Gon® removes scale and mineral deposits and grease from the chamber and inside pipes and valves of autoclaves. Regular use of Iso-Gon® prevents build-up caused by hand water, keeping high quality autoclaves in top working condition, and aids in the sterilization process.
